New look Jase-Pop April 1, no foolin'!

Thanks to those of you who wished me well after my little bike accident a month ago.
It was nothing major but it did make me very tired, unable to work for a period, and also unable to update my blog.
Luckily I have taken the opportunity to start working on a new look blog!
It will still have a focus on introducing Asian Pop music to those outside of Asia, but I will also be adding some new things, like entries on my time in different places in Asia that I have visited as well as news on my new radio show that I am hosting from 3 to 6pm Tuesdays at www.joy.org.au.
It all begins from April 1st! Can't wait to show you my new look blog!
Hope you are all safe and happy!

End of the road.

Girl you know we belong together
I have no time for you to be playing
With my heart like this
Youll be mine forever baby, you just see

(verse)
We belong together
And you that Im right
Why do you play with my head,
Hy do you play with my mind?

Said wed be forever
Said itd never die
How could you love me and leave me
And never say good-bye?

Girl I cant sleep at night without holding you tight
Girl, each time I try I just break down and cry
Pain in my head oh Id rather be dead
Spinnin around and around

Chorus:
Although weve come to the end of the road
Still I cant let you go
Its unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you
Come to the end of the road
Still I cant let you go
Its unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you

Girl, I know you really love me,
You just dont realize
Youve never been there before
Its only your first time

Maybe Ill forgive you, hmm
Maybe youll try
We should be happy together
Forever, you and i

Girl, you love me again like you loved me before
This time I want you to love me much more
This time instead just come to my bed
And baby just dont let me, dont let me down

Chorus

(spoken)
Girl Im here for you
All those times of night when you just hurt me
And just run out with that other fella
Baby I knew about it, I just didnt care
You just dont understand how much I love you do you?
Im here for you

Im not out to go out and cheat on you all night
Just like you did baby but thats all right
Hey, I love you anyway
And Im still gonna be here for you till my dying day baby
Right now, Im just in so much pain baby
Coz you just wont come back to me
Will you? just come back to me

(lonely)
Yes baby my heart is lonely
(lonely)
My heart hurts baby
(lonely)
Yes I feel pain too
Baby please

This time instead just come to my bed
And baby just dont let me go

Ok, a little dramatic, but Taryn informs me that she will not be able to continue on updating this blog.

We both appreciate the love you have brought to this blog with our greatest thanks.

Keep listening to 'Straight Up' for your Tuesday Brekkie with Taryn from 6:30am Tuesdays, only on JOY 94.9.

P.S. My new blog Jase-Pop starts this week. Look out for it!

On the show tomorow..

On the Tuesday Brekkie Show with Taryn and Jase this week the guys will be chatting to Cameron Knight.

Sydney actor and comedian Cameron Knight, inspired by his mum who beat cancer is embarking on an epic adventure all in the name of charity. Cameron is taking part in the third annual Tour de Cure. The grueling cycle which begins on May 29 will take him and 53 other riders 10 days and up the north-eastern coast of Australia covering 1,555km from Brisbane to Cairns.

Cameron is hosting an event prior to the tour to reach his fundraising target of $10,000 at Sydney’s Laugh Garage – LAUGHS, LADS & LYCRA on Sunday March 29.

The night is set to be an hilarious one, with a lineup featuring Wil Anderson, Lehmo, Lindsay Webb, David Williams and the amazing ManChoir. There will also be a raffle with great prizes to be won. All proceeds will go to Tour de Cure

Tour de Cure conducts annual cycling tours, and related events, to raise money for vital Australian cancer projects managed by Camp Quality, The Breast Cancer Foundation, Cancer Council, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and The Leukemia Foundation. Funding is vital for hope, research, support, improved treatment options and ultimately, finding a cure for this disease, which, despite developments is still the leading cause of death in the country. Cancer does not discriminate. Men, women and children are affected.

Join Taryn and Jase from 6:30 to 9:00am Tuesday Mornings and especially at 7:30 to hear Cameron.

Plus all the regulars, David Hunt with 'On the Hunt', Luke Gallagar for 'Up your arts', Miss Laurens 'Celebrity Cereal' and take a seat on the casting couch with Mark.

Catch you then!

JASE POP COMES THIS WEEK.

Hey guys and gals. I've started working on something this week that I have planned to do for a while. It's a little project (hobby) I've wanted to undertake for some time now and I'm calling it Jase-Pop. It's a new blog that delves into the world of Asian Pop Music.
After a trip to South East Asia last year I was introduced to a whole other world of music I neglected to take notice of prior to my holiday. Makes sense really. The lyrics are usually only 10% English, the bands are usually the kind of thing that died out here in the late 90's and well I don't know if you have ever noticed but we are not really in their market. I'm working to change that.
I'm going to keep you informed on all things K-Pop(Korean), J-Pop (Japanese) and beyond. Whether you are a fan of Asian Pop Music or just looking for some different pop music that isn't being played 'A rotation' 6 times a day on Melbourne radio then this blogs for you!
It's gonna get serious at times, but most of the time it's going to be easy to take the piss out of some of these artists. I look forward to you checking out the new blog and encourage feedback and your comments when it's up and running.

Jase-Pop begins online this week. Stay tuned for the release date!

ChillOUT Festival Update this coming Tuesday.

On the Tuesday Brekkie Show this coming week, Taryn and I chat to the organizer of the Chillout Festival Doug Pollard to get the low down on what's on this year. ChillOUT is one of those things I personally always hope to get along to each year, but due to being lazy I miss out on doing so. Well this year I'm taking a stand, and after doing the same thing during the Midsumma Festival in January (promising myself I would go to more festival events this year, and then not doing so) I figure I need to put words into action this time around.
We will be asking Doug what we can expect to be different this time around and how progress is being made on the final touches. Plus we will also give you a chance to ask Doug questions yourself. Was there something you didn't like about the Carnival perhaps last year that you want to voice your opinion on?
Tune into the Tuesday Brekkie Show from 6am to 9am this coming Tuesday for the low down on the ChillOUT Festival 2009.

Interview for Chillout is currently planned for 7:45

Taryn and Jase now on Facebook.

Well finally Taryn and I give into peer pressure and start a Facebook group for the Tuesday Brekkie Show. We would love you to be a part of it to keep up to date with what's coming up on the show in the weeks to come, and have your say on the direction of the show. We would love you to take part so get on 'the book' now, jump to the 'groups' section and search for 'Tuesday Brekky Show' and you will hopefully be able to find it with little hassle.

In other news we are still trying to make final adjustments to the new format and we are getting great feedback from you. What we are hearing is that you rather the request hour being from 7am rather than 6am as most of you are up after 7, and enjoying the slight changes we have made to the play list in general. Join our facebook group and keep letting us know what YOU want. It's your show too!!... and even more so if you are a JOY Member... radiothon's not far away so keep it in mind.
